Public Leadership Program
Develops a diverse cohort in ethical, evidence-informed public leadership through community practice, reflection and accountable service rather than access to status or political advancement.
What could this idea change?
Participants build practical leadership capability on real community priorities while host organisations gain supported work and a broader leadership pipeline.
A simple way to start
- Co-design capabilities and practice needs with community organisations and prospective participants. Who could lead it: Program Director
- Recruit through open, targeted and supported channels and select against a documented rubric. Who could lead it: Independent Selection Panel
- Deliver applied learning in ethics, evidence, inclusion, systems, facilitation and public accountability. Who could lead it: Faculty Lead
- Place participants in supervised community practice with feedback from people affected by the work. Who could lead it: Practice and Safeguarding Lead
- Assess growth, community value and program equity and provide each participant a transparent completion record. Who could lead it: Evaluation Lead
