Adaptation note
Use for the Library Display overlay under Pop-Up Rotary Displays. Design for quiet, self-directed close reading rather than a staffed sales interaction. Use one dominant community story, concise captions, strong evidence and a low-pressure next step. Confirm library case/shelf/noticeboard, fixing, security, collection, access, lighting, sound and maintenance rules. Avoid audio dependence, flashing media, sensory overload and small dense text.
Instructions
- Obtain the library’s written operational/content approval before layout and installation.
- Design to the measured case, shelf or noticeboard and its viewing height, glazing, lighting, frame overlap, security and fixing limits.
- Keep one calm narrative with one dominant story; do not convert the display into a membership sales board.
- Place essential information within an accessible reading band or provide equivalent large-print/digital content and a human contact.
- Prefer anonymous viewing counts. Do not observe/profile library users or connect unapproved data capture.
- Agree installation, inspection, cleaning, restocking, enquiry and removal owners/dates.
