A simple way to start
- Choose one forum question such as what helped people belong or sustain service, then invite speakers privately through real relationships and avoid assigning people to represent a country or region. Who could lead it: Forum curator
- Prepare each speaker individually, agree the specific club, place and time context, clarify what is personal or official and record topics and questions that are out of scope. Who could lead it: Speaker liaison
- Verify factual Rotary and project claims, check rights and consent for every asset and prepare accessible context cards without adding national, cultural or political assumptions. Who could lead it: Fact-checker and ethical communications reviewer
- Test time zones, connections, captions, sound, pronunciation, speaking order, question tools and fallback channels, and brief the moderator on harmful-comment and safety responses. Who could lead it: Forum producer and moderator
- Open with the forum boundaries, host equal short stories, route questions through the moderator, let speakers pass and close with a de-identified reflection on belonging or service practice. Who could lead it: Moderator
What should we look for?
- After 90 days, review Global Rotary Stories Forum. Look for a broader range of voices being heard, identified barriers being addressed and voluntary feedback showing a stronger sense of belonging.
- Speakers with agreed story, context, terms, questions, access and media choices before promotion.
