Alumni Impact Stories

Documents verifiable alumni contribution in their own voice, showing community outcomes without overstating Rotary causation or exposing beneficiaries.

What could this idea change?

Authentic stories make pathways visible, transfer practical learning and recognise partners and communities fairly.

A simple way to start

  1. Interview the alumnus about decisions, trade-offs, evidence and community voices. Who could lead it: Story editor
  2. Verify claims and invite the partner to correct context or harm. Who could lead it: Fact-check lead
  3. Draft in the alumnus's voice with dignity and proportional attribution. Who could lead it: Writer
  4. Obtain final-use approval for each format and channel. Who could lead it: Rights coordinator
  5. Publish accessibly and record source, consent, expiry and correction route. Who could lead it: Content custodian

What should we look for?

  • Stories passing evidence and rights review.

Before we say yes

  • Does it fit a real local need?
  • Can people take part safely and fairly?
  • Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
  • Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
