Meet Rotary Information Night

Give people considering deeper involvement a concise, candid orientation to Rotary's mission, local work, expectations and participation choices before they decide.

What could this idea change?

Participants can compare realistic options, ask difficult questions privately and leave with the specific information or invitation they requested.

A simple way to start

  1. Define the actively exploring audience, the questions the session will answer and the choices it will not pressure. Who could lead it: Session Coordinator
  2. Build a concise orientation from current facts, two local examples and realistic participation expectations. Who could lead it: Content Lead
  3. Configure venue or platform, registration, access adjustments, privacy notice and distinct response routes. Who could lead it: Operations Lead
  4. Rehearse pacing, member stories, question deferral, private conversations and follow-up language. Who could lead it: Host/Facilitator
  5. Deliver the orientation, protect conversation time and capture only the action each person explicitly requests. Who could lead it: Host/Facilitator

What should we look for?

  • Voluntary feedback on clarity and remaining questions

Before we say yes

  • Does it fit a real local need?
  • Can people take part safely and fairly?
  • Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
  • Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
