Participants know what influence they have, how contributions will be captured or attributed, what Rotary can decide and when they will hear back.

• People directly affected by one defined local issue, recruited beyond the club's existing network. Use when a specific decision or service question genuinely benefits from affected people's experience.

Before you start

• Accessible invitation, practical adjustments, attendance choice and safer disclosure route.
• Questions tested for clarity, relevance, cultural appropriateness and unnecessary sensitivity.
• Accurate anonymous, confidential or attributed participation statement and retention plan.
• Facilitator, note-taker, safeguarding, complaint, referral and emergency briefings.

At the end: Provide the promised synthesis and decision update in accessible form, close referrals and participant questions, secure or dispose of records as stated, and document whose perspectives remain missing before any next action.
