Neighbourhood Rotary Conversations
Use the Neighbourhood Small-Group Conversation mode within Community Listening Sessions to achieve the parent pathway's purpose without setting it up as a separate pathway.
What could this idea change?
Participants know what influence they have, how contributions will be captured or attributed, what Rotary can decide and when they will hear back.
A simple way to start
- Approve the question, decision context, influence boundary, evidence need and report-back commitment. Who could lead it: Question and Decision Owner
- Map affected groups, trusted intermediaries, access needs and voices likely to be missed. Who could lead it: Community Outreach Lead
- Design questions, participation options, capture, attribution, safer disclosure and difficult-conversation routes. Who could lead it: Facilitator
- Recruit through trusted routes, confirm practical information and brief hosts without promising outcomes. Who could lead it: Outreach Lead
- Facilitate balanced participation, manage scope and incidents, and record contributions without converting interpretation into fact. Who could lead it: Facilitator and Capture Lead

- Reach by affected group, participation routes used and representation gaps

- Does it fit a real local need?
- Can people take part safely and fairly?
- Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
- Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
