Rotary Street Activation Event
Use the High-Footfall Street Activation mode within Pop-Up Rotary Activation System to achieve the parent pathway's purpose without setting it up as a separate pathway.
What could this idea change?
People receive one relevant prompt, useful information or practical opportunity in a respectful interaction that does not require formal event attendance.
A simple way to start
- Select one deployment mode from audience, host conditions and intended community value. Who could lead it: Activation Lead
- Secure the site and record footprint, access, weather, crowd, equipment, organiser and emergency conditions. Who could lead it: Site Liaison
- Configure one message, prompt, action, response route and overlay-specific control set. Who could lead it: Content and Response Owner
- Inspect and pack the kit, assign shifts and breaks, and rehearse setup, conversation, deferral, incident and pack-down. Who could lead it: Asset Custodian
- Operate within footprint and conduct boundaries, monitor conditions and capture only explicit actions. Who could lead it: Duty Site Lead
What should we look for?
- Meaningful conversations or completed prompts by deployment source
Before we say yes
- Does it fit a real local need?
- Can people take part safely and fairly?
- Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
- Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
