What could this idea change?

Viewers gain a candid, timely look at community work and can move to verified details or a practical action outside an expiring story.

Could this work in our club?

  • Mobile-first local audiences, younger adults, community partners and existing followers who engage with vertical visual stories. Use when a project has a natural sequence that can be shown safely over several episodes.

Before you start

  • A frame-by-frame plan with purpose, fact source, rights, on-screen copy and destination.
  • Vertical media captured under specific consent without sensitive location or routine data.
  • A secured account, response roster and accessible transcript or companion page.

At the end: Send featured contributors the saved version, answer genuine replies within two business days and remove expired highlights during the monthly rights and facts review.

Before your club says yes

Does the idea fit?

Talk with the people it is meant to serve and check that the need is real.

Who can say yes?

Name the person or group that can approve the work, spending and any safety arrangements.

Are people protected?

Check privacy, consent and safety. Collect only the information you genuinely need.

Can everyone take part?

Check the language, format, place, technology and cost for barriers.

Are the facts and permissions right?

Check names, claims, images, quotations, partner references and Rotary branding.

How will we learn?

Note where things stand now, check in at 30, 60 and 90 days, and decide what to do next.
