Digital Newsletter

Delivers a predictable, permission-based digest of local impact and upcoming actions, giving each subscriber control over relevance, frequency and exit.

What could this idea change?

People receive a concise, trustworthy summary in their inbox without needing to monitor social media or surrender control over future contact.

A simple way to start

  1. Define subscriber segments, issue promise, cadence and the reason each section deserves inbox space. Who could lead it: Newsletter Editor
  2. Clean the list and run a re-permission campaign where source or consent is unclear. Who could lead it: Privacy and List Steward
  3. Produce concise stories and actions with plain-language links, alt text and accessible reading order. Who could lead it: Content Team
  4. Complete fact, rights, accessibility, link, rendering and regulated-content checks before send. Who could lead it: Send Approver
  5. Handle replies and unsubscribes, then use engagement and action evidence to improve the next issue. Who could lead it: Audience Lead

What should we look for?

  • Active permissioned subscribers

Before we say yes

  • Does it fit a real local need?
  • Can people take part safely and fairly?
  • Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
  • Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
