What could this idea change?

Longer community conversations remain discoverable and usable in audio and text rather than disappearing into one platform or promotional feed.

Could this work in our club?

  • Listeners interested in local service, leadership and community voices, including commuters and people who prefer audio or transcripts. Use when the club has a clear editorial purpose and recurring access to worthwhile guests or topics.

Before you start

  • An editorial charter, series plan, publishing authority, correction standard and retirement policy.
  • Hosting and distribution accounts owned by the organisation with secure access and export capability.
  • Guest releases, music and archival rights, transcript workflow, content warnings and accessible episode-page template.

At the end: Send guests the final audio and transcript, resolve correction requests under the published standard and complete a season-end rights, accessibility and platform-export audit.

Before your club says yes

Does the idea fit?

Talk with the people it is meant to serve and check that the need is real.

Who can say yes?

Name the person or group that can approve the work, spending and any safety arrangements.

Are people protected?

Check privacy, consent and safety. Collect only the information you genuinely need.

Can everyone take part?

Check the language, format, place, technology and cost for barriers.

Are the facts and permissions right?

Check names, claims, images, quotations, partner references and Rotary branding.

How will we learn?

Note where things stand now, check in at 30, 60 and 90 days, and decide what to do next.
