Digital Community Impact Stories

Creates accessible digital stories that combine participant voice, verified project evidence and current context, then retain a controlled correction and consent history across formats.

What could this idea change?

People can understand a project's human and measured significance without beneficiaries losing dignity, context or control over reuse.

A simple way to start

  1. Agree the story purpose and boundaries with contributors and project partners before capture. Who could lead it: Impact Story Lead
  2. Gather participant voice and evidence without scripting praise or collecting unnecessary hardship detail. Who could lead it: Community Producer
  3. Verify claims and produce responsive text, image, audio or video variants with equivalent meaning. Who could lead it: Evidence and Accessibility Editors
  4. Publish from a stable source page and distribute approved extracts with consistent context and action. Who could lead it: Digital Publisher
  5. Monitor corrections, permissions, destination health and whether the story generates the intended community value. Who could lead it: Rights and Insights Steward

What should we look for?

  • Stories passing evidence, consent and accessibility gates

Before we say yes

  • Does it fit a real local need?
  • Can people take part safely and fairly?
  • Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
  • Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
