Community Radio Partnerships
Create a recurring, locally useful radio contribution that brings verified community voices and service information to audiences beyond Rotary channels.
What could this idea change?
Listeners hear accessible local information and authentic community perspectives through a trusted, low-cost medium.
A simple way to start
- Listen to the station and propose a segment suited to its audience and format. Who could lead it: Radio partnership lead
- Co-plan topics, guest diversity and broadcast calendar with the producer. Who could lead it: Segment producer
- Prepare concise facts, audio quality and live-broadcast contingencies. Who could lead it: Rotary audio editor
- Record or broadcast under station direction and guest consent. Who could lead it: Designated presenter
- Review audience response and renew only if the segment remains useful. Who could lead it: Station-club review pair
What should we look for?
- Station accepts a documented audience-led segment concept.
Before we say yes
- Does it fit a real local need?
- Can people take part safely and fairly?
- Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
- Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
