Environmental Action Campaign

Links a locally evidenced environmental need to an authorised action, making the desired behaviour, ecological basis and measured result visible without greenwashing.

What could this idea change?

People receive practical, place-specific guidance and a safe way to contribute to environmental improvement that is monitored beyond the launch photo.

A simple way to start

  1. Define the environmental outcome, baseline, intervention boundary and evidence standard with specialists. Who could lead it: Environmental Partner
  2. Secure all site and activity permissions and design safe roles for the intended audience. Who could lead it: Project and Risk Lead
  3. Create campaign material that explains why the action helps, what it cannot solve and how results will be checked. Who could lead it: Science Communications Lead
  4. Deliver the public action with induction, accessible roles and controlled data or image capture. Who could lead it: Site Coordinator
  5. Measure the agreed indicator and publish maintenance responsibility and verified results. Who could lead it: Monitoring Lead

What should we look for?

  • Authorised participants completing the target action

Before we say yes

  • Does it fit a real local need?
  • Can people take part safely and fairly?
  • Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
  • Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
