Rotary Community Story Campaign

Builds a community-authored series in which residents and partners define what matters, Rotary's role is proportionate and every story offers a grounded next step.

What could this idea change?

Different community voices enter the public record with consent and context, helping neighbours understand issues and recognise ways to support each other.

  2. Agree each contributor's story boundary, format, attribution and desired audience action. Who could lead it: Story Producer
  3. Verify facts and complete cultural, privacy, rights, defamation and accessibility review. Who could lead it: Editorial Assurance Lead
  4. Publish the series at a sustainable cadence and moderate public responses against clear rules. Who could lead it: Publishing Lead
  5. Return audience responses to contributors and preserve only assets approved for the archive. Who could lead it: Archive and Follow-Up Lead

What should we look for?

  • Consented stories representing target communities

Before we say yes

  • Does it fit a real local need?
  • Can people take part safely and fairly?
  • Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
  • Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
