What could this idea change?

Preserves nuanced project learning and community expertise while giving listeners a tested route to more information or involvement.

Could this work in our club?

  • Commuters, volunteers, partners and residents who prefer conversational audio or an accessible transcript. Use when a guest has useful first-hand knowledge that benefits from more depth than a short post.

Before you start

  • A written episode brief with audience, scope, evidence sources and one relevant listener action.
  • Guest consent covering recording, editing, transcript, channels, retention and excerpts.
  • Reliable recording equipment, quiet location, licensed music policy and secure production storage.

At the end: Send the guest the final links and correction route, answer listener enquiries, archive production evidence, and record improvements before booking another interview.

Before your club says yes

Does the idea fit?

Talk with the people it is meant to serve and check that the need is real.

Who can say yes?

Name the person or group that can approve the work, spending and any safety arrangements.

Are people protected?

Check privacy, consent and safety. Collect only the information you genuinely need.

Can everyone take part?

Check the language, format, place, technology and cost for barriers.

Are the facts and permissions right?

Check names, claims, images, quotations, partner references and Rotary branding.

How will we learn?

Note where things stand now, check in at 30, 60 and 90 days, and decide what to do next.
