Use it when

Before the club starts
- Written agreement with the responsible school or youth organisation on roles, safeguarding and publication.
- Age-appropriate participant information, youth assent and required parent or guardian permissions.
- Trained facilitators, accessible methods and a plan for anonymity, withdrawal and welfare response.

Controls and safeguards
- Follow current child-safe standards, partner procedures and supervision rules; a publicity release does not replace safeguarding approval.
- Do not disclose school routines, exact locations, contact details, trauma, family circumstances or other identifying information unnecessarily.
- Critical — child safety, power imbalance and persistent digital identification require partner-led controls and youth agency.
What to measure
- Young participants making an informed format and publication choice
Follow-up: Check participant welfare through the partner, provide the final item in an accessible form, remove unsafe responses, and honour any later withdrawal under the agreed process.
