Rotary Storytelling Podcast

Establishes a club-owned, season-based podcast that combines narration, interviews and field audio to tell a coherent range of local service stories.

What could this idea change?

Creates an accessible long-form channel for local voices and project learning with stable show notes, transcripts and enquiry routes.

A simple way to start

  1. Design the season arc and test its listener promise against six distinct episode briefs. Who could lead it: Showrunner
  2. Assign hosts and producers and complete research, guest and field-recording plans for the pilot pair. Who could lead it: Series Producer
  3. Record narration, interviews and approved location sound using consistent technical and consent standards. Who could lead it: Recording Lead
  4. Edit the pilot episodes, verify claims, clear rights and prepare transcripts and useful show notes. Who could lead it: Editorial and Accessibility Lead
  5. Launch the season, manage feedback and actions, and decide renewal only after an end-of-season review. Who could lead it: Publisher and Audience Lead

What should we look for?

  • Episodes released against the season plan

Before we say yes

  • Does it fit a real local need?
  • Can people take part safely and fairly?
  • Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
  • Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
