NGO Partnership Development
Create an evidence-led partnership with an NGO whose specialist delivery capacity complements Rotary's convening, volunteer or fundraising strengths.
What could this idea change?
Communities gain a coordinated response that combines technical expertise, accountable delivery and Rotary's relationship network.
A simple way to start
- Screen potential NGOs against mission fit, capability, geography and integrity criteria. Who could lead it: Due-diligence lead
- Compare theories of change and identify the smallest useful joint outcome. Who could lead it: Service director
- Test references, financial controls and safeguarding arrangements. Who could lead it: Governance reviewer
- Negotiate a written workplan, budget, evidence schedule and escalation path. Who could lead it: Partnership negotiator
- Approve continuation only after an evidence and relationship checkpoint. Who could lead it: Club board
What should we look for?
- Due-diligence decision is completed and signed.
Before we say yes
- Does it fit a real local need?
- Can people take part safely and fairly?
- Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
- Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
