Before you start

• Verification of the charity's identity, current registration and relevant licences or accreditations.
• A beneficiary-informed scope, itemised budget and confirmation of any DGR or fundraising representations.
• Written agreement on money, donated goods, volunteers, publicity and residual assets.

At the end: Issue a joint completion note, return a transparent acquittal to contributors, and defer any repeat project until beneficiary and operational lessons are accepted.
