Co-deliver a tightly scoped project with a charity so its service expertise and Rotary's local mobilisation produce a visible, accountable result.
What could this idea change?
A defined gap is addressed without building a parallel service, and donors can see who is accountable for each resource and outcome.
A simple way to start
- Ask the charity to define the service gap and evidence of need. Who could lead it: Charity liaison
- Select a deliverable matched to Rotary capacity and the charity's operating model. Who could lead it: Project committee
- Set the budget, donation pathway, volunteer standards and beneficiary protections. Who could lead it: Treasurer and safeguarding lead
- Deliver under the charity's service protocols with a shared issue log. Who could lead it: Joint project manager
- Reconcile funds, assets, outputs and beneficiary feedback at close. Who could lead it: Acquittal owner
What should we look for?
- Agreed project output is delivered within approved scope.

- Does it fit a real local need?
- Can people take part safely and fairly?
- Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
- Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
