• University engagement offices, academics, student societies, research centres, Rotary service leads and community clients. Use when a local issue would benefit from research, evaluation, design or technical expertise.

Before you start

• An authorised university contact and a written brief approved by the community client.
• Agreement on intellectual property, research ethics, publication, privacy and data custody.
• A realistic supervision plan aligned to academic dates and participant availability.

At the end: Hold a handover workshop, archive approved outputs and licences, and decide with the community client whether a new academic cycle is warranted.
