Cultural Institution Partnerships
Work with museums, galleries, libraries and cultural centres to interpret local service stories through authoritative collections and inclusive public programming.
What could this idea change?
Local stories become accessible in a trusted setting with stronger provenance, rights and cultural context than club-only promotion.
A simple way to start
- Explore thematic fit with the curator before selecting Rotary material. Who could lead it: Institution liaison
- Audit objects, images and testimony for provenance, rights and sensitivity. Who could lead it: Collections coordinator
- Co-design interpretation and access with relevant source communities. Who could lead it: Curatorial working group
- Install or deliver the programme to institutional conservation and access standards. Who could lead it: Production manager
- Return loans, permissions and audience findings to all contributors. Who could lead it: Registrar
What should we look for?
- Curatorial brief and rights register are complete.
Before we say yes
- Does it fit a real local need?
- Can people take part safely and fairly?
- Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
- Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
