Corporate Social Responsibility Partnerships

Convert a company's social-responsibility commitment into a community-governed contribution with clear outcomes, boundaries and employee participation.

What could this idea change?

Corporate resources reach a verified need without displacing community priorities or turning beneficiaries into marketing material.

A simple way to start

  1. Test the corporate offer against the community partner's priority and boundaries. Who could lead it: Community-interest lead
  2. Complete due diligence and declare Rotary member relationships. Who could lead it: Governance officer
  3. Negotiate contributions, employee roles, evidence and recognition. Who could lead it: CSR partnership lead
  4. Deliver with community-partner authority over beneficiary contact. Who could lead it: Joint delivery manager
  5. Verify outcomes and decide renewal without assuming ongoing sponsorship. Who could lead it: Board reviewer

What should we look for?

  • Community partner accepts the proposed contribution.

Before we say yes

  • Does it fit a real local need?
  • Can people take part safely and fairly?
  • Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
  • Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
