Sustain a place-based alliance in which residents and organisations coordinate long-term development priorities, resources and accountability.
What could this idea change?
Development decisions reflect local strengths and priorities, with organisations accountable to residents over multiple project cycles.
A simple way to start
- Map local assets and priorities through resident-led engagement. Who could lead it: Community co-design team
- Recruit organisations able to commit authority or resources to those priorities. Who could lead it: Alliance builder
- Adopt the charter and transparent project-selection criteria. Who could lead it: Alliance members
- Launch a balanced portfolio of resident-backed actions. Who could lead it: Place coordinator
- Report progress publicly and reallocate effort using local feedback. Who could lead it: Accountability panel

- Resident participation influences the published priority set.

- Can people take part safely and fairly?
- Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
