School Leadership Workshops
Gives students a practical leadership rehearsal built around their real school or community challenge rather than a generic motivational talk.
What could this idea change?
Students leave with a feasible action, shared roles and decision-making tools they can use immediately.
A simple way to start
- Ask students and staff what leadership situation the workshop should help solve. Who could lead it: Learning designer and school liaison
- Build a participatory run sheet with scenarios, reflection and an action canvas. Who could lead it: Lead facilitator
- Brief screened facilitators and test materials for readability and accessibility. Who could lead it: Youth protection officer
- Deliver with school staff present and give students genuine choices in participation. Who could lead it: Facilitation team
- Capture anonymous learning evidence and hand the action plan to the school owner. Who could lead it: Evaluation lead
What should we look for?
- Attendance and completion by intended cohort.
Before we say yes
- Does it fit a real local need?
- Can people take part safely and fairly?
- Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
- Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
