Rotary Business Breakfast Series

Creates an early-morning, outcome-led forum where local employers hear a concise community brief and commit expertise, access or resources to a defined next step.

What could this idea change?

Community needs reach decision-makers in a practical format and businesses gain credible routes to contribute beyond cheque-writing.

A simple way to start

  1. Select one community question and one achievable ask for the breakfast. Who could lead it: Series chair
  2. Recruit a balanced table of business and community voices. Who could lead it: Partnership lead
  3. Circulate a one-page brief and collect conflicts or access needs. Who could lead it: Event secretary
  4. Run a 60-minute agenda ending in written offers and owners. Who could lead it: Facilitator
  5. Convert offers into scoped follow-up actions before the next event. Who could lead it: Commitment coordinator

What should we look for?

  • Decision-makers attending across sectors.

Before we say yes

  • Does it fit a real local need?
  • Can people take part safely and fairly?
  • Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
  • Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
