Regional Leadership Forum
Coordinates leaders across local boundaries on a shared regional challenge, clarifying jurisdiction, dependencies and collective actions that no single community can deliver alone.
What could this idea change?
Regional issues receive joined-up attention while local differences, authority and accountability remain visible rather than being flattened into a symbolic alliance.
A simple way to start
- Validate the regional challenge and existing authority with each relevant locality and community. Who could lead it: Forum Steering Group
- Publish the system map, evidence gaps and participant-selection rationale before the forum. Who could lead it: Regional Evidence Lead
- Facilitate locality and sector perspectives before negotiating shared priorities and dependencies. Who could lead it: Independent Forum Chair
- Create an action map showing owner, jurisdiction, partner, resource, dependency and reporting date. Who could lead it: Action Design Team
- Secure explicit acceptance from authorised owners and establish a light public reporting cadence. Who could lead it: Regional Coordination Steward
