Rotary Community Service Expo

Use the Volunteer Opportunity Expo mode within Rotary Community Expo to achieve the parent pathway's purpose without setting it up as a separate pathway.

What could this idea change?

Visitors can compare consistently described options and reach the right receiving organisation without Rotary implying blanket endorsement.

A simple way to start

  1. Approve the expo proposition, categories, scale, decision rights, venue and success measures. Who could lead it: Expo Director
  2. Select and review exhibitors, then obtain standards, current information, authorised representatives and cancellation agreement. Who could lead it: Exhibitor Lead
  3. Design the floor, visitor comparison format, access choices, program, referral and emergency routes. Who could lead it: Public Experience Lead
  4. Publish only approved event facts, confirm registrations and adjustments, brief every Rotary function and onboard exhibitors. Who could lead it: Communications and Operations Leads
  5. Operate the visitor journey, monitor exhibitors and conditions, record only authorised referrals and manage incidents. Who could lead it: Duty Director

What should we look for?

  • Approved exhibitors by intended category and onboarding completion

Before we say yes

  • Does it fit a real local need?
  • Can people take part safely and fairly?
  • Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
  • Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
