Club Website Redesign

Rebuilds the club website around the tasks a newcomer must complete - understand local impact, verify details, attend, volunteer, partner or enquire - with accessible content and durable governance.

What could this idea change?

The public gains one trustworthy, current and usable source for local Rotary information instead of relying on fragmented social posts or member knowledge.

A simple way to start

  1. Observe representative users attempting priority tasks on the existing site and document failure points. Who could lead it: User Research Lead
  2. Design the information architecture, content model and page-owner register around those tasks. Who could lead it: Content and Service Designer
  3. Build reusable accessible components, secure forms, redirects, analytics and search metadata in a controlled test environment. Who could lead it: Web Delivery Lead
  4. Complete content, keyboard, screen-reader, mobile, performance, privacy, security and broken-link acceptance testing. Who could lead it: Independent Quality Lead
  5. Launch with rollback, backups, monitoring and a dated content-maintenance cycle. Who could lead it: Website Product Owner

What should we look for?

  • Priority-task completion by representative users

Before we say yes

  • Does it fit a real local need?
  • Can people take part safely and fairly?
  • Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
  • Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
