Virtual Rotary Open Day

Lets people explore the club from home through a structured, accessible live session that combines honest member experience, project choices and private next-step options.

What could this idea change?

Geography, mobility, caring responsibilities and social uncertainty become smaller barriers to understanding and trying Rotary.

A simple way to start

  1. Research attendee questions and design a 60-minute journey around them. Who could lead it: Open Day Producer
  2. Recruit representative speakers and rehearse concise stories, demonstrations and transitions. Who could lead it: Program Host
  3. Test captions, keyboard access, audio, slides, security settings, dial-in and failure contingencies. Who could lead it: Technical and Accessibility Lead
  4. Deliver with moderated questions, privacy reminders and several low-pressure action choices. Who could lead it: Host and Moderator
  5. Route each attendee only to their selected project, event, volunteer or membership pathway. Who could lead it: Follow-Up Lead

What should we look for?

  • Registrants able to join through their chosen access route

Before we say yes

  • Does it fit a real local need?
  • Can people take part safely and fairly?
  • Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
  • Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
