Why a club might use this
Offers direct dialogue about impact, including limitations and next needs, instead of a promotional presentation alone.
Use it when
- Residents, supporters, prospective volunteers, funders and partners interested in the results and lessons of local projects. Use when several project contributors are ready to share complementary perspectives in person.
Before the club starts
- A scoped program with three or four willing speakers, verified evidence and a neutral facilitator.
- Venue, access, safeguarding, insurance, recording and emergency arrangements approved for the audience.
- A registration and follow-up plan that separates attendance from future communications.

Controls and safeguards
- Do not identify beneficiaries or recount trauma for effect; speakers control their own participation and boundaries.
- State whether the event is recorded, how questions are handled and what Rotary can and cannot commit to.
- Medium-high — live stories and questions can expose sensitive experiences; speaker welfare and moderation must be rehearsed.
What to measure
- Attendance from the intended community segments
Follow-up: Send a factual thank-you and action note within five business days, privately resolve unanswered matters, and confirm any future contact choice before adding attendees to a list.
