Project Photo Stories

Uses a purposeful sequence of images and concise captions to show how a project moves from community need to responsible action and result.

What could this idea change?

Makes project work understandable at a glance while crediting participants and partners and preserving a truthful visual record.

A simple way to start

  1. Map the essential frames: context, need, safe action, collaboration, result and next opportunity. Who could lead it: Photo Story Lead
  2. Brief the project team and photographer on consent signals, no-camera zones and operational safety. Who could lead it: Project Safety Lead
  3. Capture candid but dignified images without interrupting service, staging hazards or exposing records. Who could lead it: Photographer
  4. Select the minimum strong sequence, verify every caption and prepare alt text and image credits. Who could lead it: Picture Editor
  5. Release approved versions for web, social, newsletter and display, then archive masters and permissions. Who could lead it: Communications Lead

What should we look for?

  • Complete photo sequences cleared for use

Before we say yes

  • Does it fit a real local need?
  • Can people take part safely and fairly?
  • Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
  • Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
