Community Testimonial Campaign
Shares voluntary, verified first-person accounts of working with Rotary, using the speaker's own approved words to build credible community trust.
What could this idea change?
Lets community experience inform public understanding while preserving the speaker's dignity, context and right not to endorse Rotary broadly.
A simple way to start
- Invite a balanced set of potential contributors privately and explain that positive comment is not expected. Who could lead it: Testimonial Coordinator
- Capture the person's experience using open questions, including limits or improvements they choose to mention. Who could lead it: Interviewer
- Verify contextual claims and draft the shortest accurate version without changing tone or causation. Who could lead it: Evidence Editor
- Obtain the contributor's approval of the exact words, attribution, image and publication plan. Who could lead it: Consent Reviewer
- Publish the approved set, monitor reactions and route resulting enquiries to the relevant service or project. Who could lead it: Campaign Publisher
What should we look for?
- Testimonials with exact contributor approval
Before we say yes
- Does it fit a real local need?
- Can people take part safely and fairly?
- Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
- Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
