Community Alliance Roundtable
Give local organisations a disciplined table for surfacing overlaps, gaps and one collaborative action without forcing premature alliance membership.
What could this idea change?
Local organisations spend less time duplicating activity and can direct effort to a gap selected through shared evidence.
A simple way to start
- Interview a representative sample to refine the roundtable question. Who could lead it: Convening lead
- Publish purpose, participation expectations and matters explicitly out of scope. Who could lead it: Chair
- Map existing activity and evidence before proposing new work. Who could lead it: Evidence curator
- Facilitate prioritisation of one gap and one feasible shared action. Who could lead it: Independent facilitator
- Circulate an attributed action record for participant correction. Who could lead it: Rapporteur
What should we look for?
- Priority stakeholder groups are represented or their absence recorded.
Before we say yes
- Does it fit a real local need?
- Can people take part safely and fairly?
- Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
- Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
