School Community Partnerships
Support a school-defined community priority through a stable partnership that respects educational authority, child safety and family voice.
What could this idea change?
Students and families receive an agreed resource or experience shaped by the school rather than an externally imposed club project.
A simple way to start
- Ask the school to define the priority, participants and educational boundaries. Who could lead it: School coordinator
- Match Rotary resources to one attainable school outcome. Who could lead it: Youth service lead
- Approve screening, supervision, communications and incident procedures. Who could lead it: Child-safety officers
- Deliver within school protocols and obtain student feedback safely. Who could lead it: Session lead
- Report outcomes to the school and agree continuation before the next term. Who could lead it: Partnership sponsor
What should we look for?
- School confirms the activity addresses its nominated priority.
Before we say yes
- Does it fit a real local need?
- Can people take part safely and fairly?
- Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
- Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
