School Leadership Exchange
Enables student leaders from different schools or communities to compare practice and co-design a shared action while avoiding token visits and competitive ranking.
What could this idea change?
Schools share workable ideas, students build cross-community understanding and a joint project makes the exchange tangible.
A simple way to start
- Match schools around a specific leadership question and equitable exchange model. Who could lead it: Exchange coordinator
- Co-design the agenda with students and supervising staff from every school. Who could lead it: Student planning group
- Complete travel, consent, host-site and contingency checks. Who could lead it: School safeguarding leads
- Run reciprocal visits with observation, dialogue and joint planning. Who could lead it: Host school coordinators
- Support one shared action and evaluate reciprocity after completion. Who could lead it: Exchange coordinator
What should we look for?
- Schools and students participating in both directions.
Before we say yes
- Does it fit a real local need?
- Can people take part safely and fairly?
- Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
- Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
