What could this idea change?

Visitors can explore sourced local history, uncertainty, current relevance and future action through a coherent route with correction and contribution pathways.

Could this work in our club?

  • Visitors to a library, gallery, civic, shopping or partner venue willing to engage with a deeper local story. Use when the subject warrants a deeper narrative than one to three display panels can provide.

Before you start

  • Narrative outline and evidence owners approved before visual design.
  • Concise captions, current project fact-check, companion content and correction route.
  • Venue agreement, floor plan, lighting, circulation, seating, security and object conditions.
  • Human-readable response route, optional governed QR and a method for verifying contributed stories before use.

At the end: Fulfil current-project and information requests, assess contributed material through the verification process, return loans, close condition and venue records, retire temporary destinations and preserve the authoritative source-and-rights package for any future edition.

Before your club says yes

Does the idea fit?

Talk with the people it is meant to serve and check that the need is real.

Who can say yes?

Name the person or group that can approve the work, spending and any safety arrangements.

Are people protected?

Check privacy, consent and safety. Collect only the information you genuinely need.

Can everyone take part?

Check the language, format, place, technology and cost for barriers.

Are the facts and permissions right?

Check names, claims, images, quotations, partner references and Rotary branding.

How will we learn?

Note where things stand now, check in at 30, 60 and 90 days, and decide what to do next.
