Youth Impact Campaign
Shows young people's contribution through youth-led, consent-safe content that gives schools, families and communities a practical route to support leadership and service.
What could this idea change?
Young people are represented as capable contributors with agency, not as promotional subjects, while adults see credible ways to remove barriers to participation.
A simple way to start
- Agree the campaign purpose, safe boundaries and decision rights with the youth organisation and participants. Who could lead it: Youth Protection Lead
- Facilitate a supervised workshop in which young people choose themes, formats and calls to action. Who could lead it: Youth Engagement Facilitator
- Create assets, then complete consent, safeguarding, factual and accessibility review. Who could lead it: Content and Rights Lead
- Release content through approved adult-managed channels and monitor interactions closely. Who could lead it: Channel Moderator
- Report audience actions back to participants and remove or amend content when permissions change. Who could lead it: Campaign Sponsor
What should we look for?
- Young participants approving final representation
Before we say yes
- Does it fit a real local need?
- Can people take part safely and fairly?
- Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
- Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
