Rotary Story Campaign
Turns several verified local project stories into one coherent campaign that shows community need, Rotary action, evidence of change and a practical next step.
What could this idea change?
Gives the public a truthful, human-scale view of what local service achieves and clear routes to participate without a membership-first pitch.
A simple way to start
- Define the campaign promise, audience segments, story mix and the action each segment may take. Who could lead it: Campaign Lead
- Interview participants and verify the need, Rotary contribution, partner role, outcome and any unresolved limitation. Who could lead it: Story Producer
- Secure specific releases and prepare plain-language copy, captions, alt text and approved visual assets. Who could lead it: Rights and Accessibility Reviewer
- Publish the sequence across selected channels, varying format while keeping facts and calls to action consistent. Who could lead it: Communications Lead
- Answer enquiries, complete promised introductions and review which stories produced meaningful action. Who could lead it: Follow-Up Lead
What should we look for?
- Number of fully cleared stories published
Before we say yes
- Does it fit a real local need?
- Can people take part safely and fairly?
- Are the facts, permissions and Rotary branding right?
- Who will lead it, and when will we review it?
