What could this idea change?

Visitors can meet the people responsible for current projects, test claims through conversation and choose an action without being treated as membership leads.

Could this work in our club?

  • Residents who recognise Rotary but do not yet understand the local club's current work or how to engage. Use when the community knows the Rotary name but has no clear picture of current local work.

Before you start

  • Venue agreement, arrival information, site plan, emergency route and any weather alternative.
  • Fact-checked project copy, current approved identifiers and rights-cleared images, quotations and partner marks.
  • Role allocation, induction, rehearsal, incident route and an accessible registration or enquiry method.
  • Approved budget, cancellation threshold, closeout method and secure record location.

At the end: Acknowledge each requested action within the published window, route it to the relevant owner, close or respectfully decline every promise, thank the venue, and issue a short debrief record before repeating the format.

Before your club says yes

Does the idea fit?

Talk with the people it is meant to serve and check that the need is real.

Who can say yes?

Name the person or group that can approve the work, spending and any safety arrangements.

Are people protected?

Check privacy, consent and safety. Collect only the information you genuinely need.

Can everyone take part?

Check the language, format, place, technology and cost for barriers.

Are the facts and permissions right?

Check names, claims, images, quotations, partner references and Rotary branding.

How will we learn?

Note where things stand now, check in at 30, 60 and 90 days, and decide what to do next.
